Jan. 7, 2020 - Imerys announces that it has completed the acquisition of 65% of Shandong Luxin Mount Tai Co., a leading Chinese producer of fused mineral for abrasives, with €12 million annual revenue in 2018. With this deal, Imerys, a global leader in fused minerals, will expand its presence in the growing abrasives market in China where it will notably increase its production capacity of ultra-fine alumina for high-performance abrasives. 

This business is consolidated in the Refractory, Abrasives & Construction business area.
